Originally created by the Venture Club of Indiana in 2009, The Innovation Showcase is Indiana’s premier event for capital sources to connect with fundable companies and took place at the Dallara Indycar Factory on July 14th, 2016.
The two-day event was a celebration of Indiana’s vibrant and diverse startup community and attracted prominent investors, entrepreneurs, and other business executives. Throughout the two-day event, attendees participated in learning, contests and prizes, and networking opportunities. During this year’s Innovation Showcase, attendees were able to witness Indiana Governor Mike Pence announce a $1B plan to advance the state’s technology and innovation.
myCOI, a cloud-based Certificate of Insurance platform, was one of over 130 companies that competed for one of just 21 pitch slots. myCOI was selected as a finalist and one of the 21 that pitched at the Innovation Showcase in the scale up track. During the awards ceremony, myCOI was honored to be named as the winner of the scale up track, which was received by CEO Kristen Nunery.
